Well, I was down to 350 this morning. Been avoiding the fast food for lunch when possible, and been eating almonds as between meal snack. A handful of raw almonds take the edge off when I get a hankering for ice cream or other sweets late at night. Once I lose the first 40 pounds or so maybe I can get back into some of my XXL shirts. I've got a whole new wardrobe waiting on me if I lose the weight, including several pair of camo pants and shirts for hunting!

Gotta redo my sleep study. Something happened with the device and it didn't get but a couple of hours of data. Gotta wait until late next week to do it again.

GO, your first sleep study test is the most important, they really need to look closely at each aspect: oxygen levels, blood pressure, ekg, respiration, body/eye movement, video and sound recording, # of times waking up each hour (don't be shocked if that # is over 100, if you reach all sleep stages (very doubtfull you do without a device)etc. to do a complete test of all stages takes app 4 hours. there are 3-4 stages of sleep and you go 1234 then 4321 then awake and they need to monitor all of them. after having several tests like me you could probably get by with a home test to see how much air pressure they need your machine to put out. then they do a second test with a device or c-pap/bi-pap to see which works best and what pressures are needed. with a air machine it blows air up your nose and forces you to sleep with your mouth closed and will stop snoring the first night, your wife will love that. good luck.
