It's north of Tampa on 301(State land ),I wish it was land that I could hunt.Lots of deer and hogs.

Anyone who has lived here a long time might remember that there was a small management area out there called "Lower Hillsborough WMA".
If I remember right it was an old type II WMA where you had to go get a special permit from the courthouse
That is the way a lot of permits were issued back in the day)
I also remember when Hillsborough county only had one tax collectors office. You had to go there to apply for quota permits. June 1 of every year it was a nut house, as every hunter in the county was there.
Anyway, that area you are talking about and Morris Bridge rd going from Tampa to Z-Hills are two of the most poached roads in Central Florida
A good friend of mine used to live in Zhills. We would go that way to his house and I would usually quit counting at 50 or so deer
looks like the makings of a gun rack!
