Has anyone heard of this?
I haven't heard that but some friends of mine showed up Sunday from TN to stay with us for a week. They said they are having a bad time with ticks this year. Their horses are getting them even though they are spraying them down with repellent. My buddy Carl said when he drives his tractor through the woods with a bush hog he has to pull off a bunch when he comes back to the house. Mosquitoes are bad up there too. Of course they are bad around here but I guess its unusual up in the mountains of TN to be that thick. Anyhow, times are a changin'.
lyme disease is no joke. I got a case of it during the spring this year while scouting in a central florida wma.
Luckily I beat it without antibiotics, but it has taken totally 4 months. BTW, there is no true cure if you go to the doctor. They will give you meds for 6 mos, but the disease itself can go dormant.
