That's funny chit! My buddy told me the same thing. I'll still be trying to go light weight but at least I won't be pedaling as hard as before. On one of the hunts I go to, the brochure says no motorized vehicles (except bicycles) so I'm assuming I can use it. I'll have the motor and batteries covered with a saddle bag so as not to raise any suspicion. :rolleyes I talked to one of my employees about Rocky Glades WMA yesterday and he said he has been seeing lots of deer the last few weeks. That is a walk or bike only place so I haven't been hitting it but this will change that for sure. It's only 10 min from the house. Sweet!
You're kinda getting into a gray area with that bike since technically it has a motor. Although it's not gas powered, it still has a motor. I would imagine if you did get stopped, that they'd let you off with a warning.
There was a hunting radio show that had a similar discussion about those off road segway's. They said it wouldn't be allowed for scouting on WMA's because it had an electric motor on it and the brochures say no motorized vehicle.
That being said, you have an awesome bike! Take some pics when you get done rigging it up. Oh and test out the battery before you go in the woods. Make sure it holds charge like it's supposed to. That might be the reason the guy let it go for 200.
Well my airboat is not a motorized vehicle. Its a vessel makes all the difference. register the bike as a boat.
I meant Southern Glades in my last post. I can peddle this new bike too so if anything I'll turn the motor off. :innocent Yeah right.
