My sister and her fiance (Chad) just relocated from Cape Coral all the way to Great Falls Montana. They should be arriving this afternoon. Chad has been chasing work and has been guaranteed a position that pays well with the help of his family up there. It should be quite a culture shock for my sister.
Now the best part, I was just informed that Chad's family friends just gave him permission to hunt their 3,000 acre ranch up near the Flathead National Forest. Looks like I am now overdue for a roadtrip out west. I am excited about this opportunity. Not sure if I can swing it this season but next season it is on the agenda.
imo, let Chad get some boots on the ground/scouting time in before you go. you don't want to waste any time there if it's gonna be a short trip. good for you both. give you some time to get some good optics.
Thats a good point. Not only that but I want to make sure my sister is up on her feet and they are living by themselves before I come and crash for a week. Might have a small troop with me when I arrive.
Congrats to both of you. I hope his job works out and you kill something big!
