saw the prices. WOW! Hey are you feeding your snakes (pre-killed/frozen/thawed), or live. Been reading that I guess this is then new fad since I had snakes. I like to watch them hit a live rat. Not sure I would want the trouble of defrosting a rat to feed a snake
We do the frozen/thawed. I raised rat's and mice when we had a 100 or so sneaks. At any given time I had 200 mice and 500 to 800 rats. We are down to 4 ball's so I go over to a buddy's house and he hooks me up with a doz. rats a month.
I used to raise my own mice when I had rat snakes back in the day. That was a stinking mess.
Cool critter. I had a couple back in the day. Had to start breeding rats and rabbits cause the pet stores prices were going crazy.
I got a great deal on 2 ball pythons from a friend who is breeding them. Yes there is 2 in this pic
