I quit buying from Bass Pro several years ago. Usually Cabela's will be a bit cheaper, and ships much faster. I got sick and tired of waiting 10-14+ days on items from Bass Pro and having to call them to find out where it is. Cabela's is here within a few days
The in-store personnel at BP are a whole different story. Oh, and I went to Gander Mountain last week, and their prices were so high I walked out laughing. Went home without spending a penny
My buddy whipped out his hardback cabelas while we were at the beach and I was complaining about not getting one. Then I come back home today and it's laying on the porch :clap
I have never spent a penny with them and they sent me a valued customer card and the hard cover book. I think they buy our names from the FWC and they see who buys what license and then mail you there flyers and books. I know in the car business we buy list and send people all kinds of junk they never wanted.
