That's the only snake I will go out of my way to rid the world of.

The only thing between this one and my son was the tree the winch was strapped to so we can hoist a feeder up in the air. The darn thing only started rattling when we went to hoist the feeder back up, I guess he didn't like the clicking sound the boat winch makes when its under load. I am sure he was camping out under the feeder getting fat on every rodent that wandered by. I have this feeder set to go off 3 times a day for the next 3 months, there was no way he was leaving on his own so I helped him out.

Had him tacked to a board for 4 days covered in borax, cleaned him off this morning and the skin to my surprise was still very pliable. Thinking about covering a leather rifle sling with it. Any advice for making sure it sticks properly?

While he might not have liked you stealing his spot, he didn't mind the clicking noise...
You know, since snakes are deaf and all...
