I believe the freezer is toast. I let it sit for a full 24+ hrs unplugged and door open. Ran a job this morning then come back, plug it in....nothing. unless there is a reset button of some sort in it somewhere?

Sure, you can suggest one. I have one already. Chest and uprights both have their pros and cons. It was my fault and a stupid mistake that caused it

That sucks Allen.
Just a hint to everyone from your local neighborhood electrician. Keep in mind that the outlets in the garage are to be GFI protected by code along with all exterior outlets. Due to that fact, most homes built in the last 15 yrs. are going to have them all tied together with one GFI outlet in the garage and the rest slaved off of it. If you can I would suggest not plugging in a freezer to a GFI protected outlet due to the fact that if it trips you may lose everything just like Allen did. They trip so easy sometimes that just a rain shower can set it off or even strong thunder and you're out a bunch of meat. If you have the ability to add a seperate outlet I would do so.
