Thanks all went great in Florida on the way back well.........it was different for sure.I sure like the area (Ebro) that the lots r near there is great fishing and hunting so close by.

I drove around Pine Log and saw deer turkey and several big hogs oh yeah and lots of dang trash.......why?Passed one area which a bunch of hogs were feeding stopped to watch them for few minutes cool sight.Saw over a hundred turkey in 2 hours of driving around area's made me jummpppyyy wanted to go hunting so bad.

Got into the early spanish bite that was a dang good time and the squid were in real heavy too.Ate fresh caught macks on the grillnow that made it overall A+ for me.Used top water plugs and got cha's and those wally world cheepo's (got cha looka likes) and did real good on the blue chrome. For squid we used ice jigs and a few ppl thought we were crazy until we started getting more than they were.

The way back up cost me over $2500.oo and that is a big set back!

You also have the dog track in Ebro! We hunted near there once in a WMA, I think it was Point Washington. The wind blew so hard during the day, and it was a full moon, we didn't see a thing. The first day we found a small clearing full of tracks among a couple of acres of scrub oaks, looked like the young bucks had been fighting. We took some branches and wiped it clean that afternoon before we left. The next morning it was covered with fresh tracks again. The only thing we saw was my buddy had a good spot behind a brush pile, and was sitting there and dozed off before daybreak! When he woke up, he said there were turkeys all around him! A couple of hens were so close he could have spit on them. He sat still and watched them for about 5 minutes, but as soon as he moved his head a little to try and see a gobbler, they took off.

I wouldn't mind living up that way again some day. That whole area along Hwy 20 from Freeport to Blountstown used to be empty as could be.

I was in a lease off of 20 a few years ago. I had to drive 20 miles to see another person. That was the most isolated I have ever been. Scary to think there are still parts of Fl like that

Sometimes up there all you hear is banjo music off in the distance, and the sounds of pigs in love... 😯
