Just got back from the panhandle after a nice long weekend. Spent Saturday morning at NockNLoad in Bonifay at the 3d Archery Shoot. I didn't place, but I had a great time, and the food was superb. Spent about half the day Sunday with PCBFish showing me around my new lease. Thanks a million! Looks like a very promising lease. I'm already looking forward to my next trip up there. Next time, I'll be taking some stands, batteries, feeder fodder, and maybe a game cam if I can scrounge up some $$.

What part of the Panhandle? I have a buddy with some land in Madison County, boy is that stuff thick. My arms are covered in scars from that country.

Papa, I knew you would not be disappointed, the lease offers much more than some. Jim is a hoot, we almost ran out of gas driving all the trails. Wish I could afford to be with you 2 this season, have fun, be safe and good luck. Did you go meet Ralph, seemed like a good guy too.

Up just outside Panama City (in the panhandle "for real"). Had a blast with Jimmy. Didn't get to meet Ralph. He was way under the weather. I ended up taking the stand on the powerline. Nice place. I just hope my stank corn hasn't caused the whole county to go into lockdown. It's been out in the hot sun on that tripod for 2 weeks already, and I hope the bucket doesn't explode before I get back up there the end of this month. I imagine, I'm gonna have to shoot my way in to the stand to get thru the hogs. Maybe I should bring a trailer, generator, and a big chest freezer with me just to be safe.
