JUMP!

So i need to keep the dog in the kitchen area while she sleeps. 1 cause i need to sleep & 2. Cause its tile so if she makes a mistake its easy cleanup.

So we go out and get the tallest dog gate we can find (26"high). So we put the gate up and take a deep breath of relief and sit and start to watch a movie.
Within 1 minute the dog jumped right over it. Soo im sitting there just watching the dog hurdle over the fence with just a bland expression on my face and just wont move my head. My daughter says "your mad as hell right?". YES!!. So i raise the gate up bout a foot and a half. So now were at 3.5 feet high. I put my gun case near the bottom so she cant crawl under. Seems good. She gave up and went in her crate and went to bed.

So we went to bed and i hear a loud noise. Well shes able to jump as high as the counter to the point where she can knock stuff off the counter. So she knocks a dish down, knocks all magnets off the fridge also. Its like she was fed gunpowder. She was on a rampage like an out of control kid having a total temper tantrum.

So i just say oh well shell get tired. So i hear one loud scratch. So i walk out the bedroom and yep you guessed it she was on the counter top bout to jump off into the living room. I got soooo pissed. One cause we just bought a 30 dollar fence thar is useless. And she wins again.

So i just get pissed as hell and put her in her crate, guess i scared her and she shut up and went to bed in her crate..... Til 1 am she started howling. Im bout fed up cause she got her way again, on the floor by the bed again. It's like impossible to train her for night hours. I mean i could keep her in the crate but the howling in an apt is not good.

Ive already decided against a shock collar but i might rethink it.
