My deepest sympathies. 2 Brits here that will be 15 in oct, showing their age and costing big bucks at the vets, but enjoying every minute with them. Rest assured she will be romping like a pup until you meet again.

A very sad day but also a new beginning. You know you will have a New "scrappy" pretty soon and you will start new favorite memories.

Sorry to hear about that man. I know it's a hard thing to do. I've had to put down a couple of good dogs throughout the years. The first I didn't have the heart to so I let my neighbor take him to the woods, the second died in my arms from a stroke, and the third one of my sons had to put down while I was out west. It ain't never easy. I think we try to hang on to them too long sometimes due to our selfishness and they needlessly suffer. 15yrs is a good long natural life for a big dog. Good on you for giving him some rest brother.

Sorry for your loss. I had to put my second one down in January, still get choked up thinking of him. My wife loved that old dog. He was almost 17, body just gave out. He was the best dog anyone could have ever asked for. He never once gave me a problem, not once.
