Sad indeed, I am almost at that point also. Buster (Jack Russel terrier) is at 16 right now and has arthritis on his back, has almost no hearing and limited vision. Sorry for your loss.

It sucks. I remember when my english bulldog lucy passed. I was so hurt and 5 years later am still hurt. To this day i cant hold, pet, or even look at an english bully without having to just walk away choked up.
Thats why i got into beagles. Had to totally change the breed. Noone will take lucys place but i got 4 cracked out crazy beagles that love me!
In reality it will be 4 more times in the future for a topic like this.
