opened my last package of venison,shrink wrapped jerky frozen since 02,delicious. man I miss my butcher from ny, the guy was an artist, would make any type of cut /roast/ sausage/hot dogs, pepperoni/jerky, used knives only, never a hair or any bone dust in the meat and would wrap it however you liked. tried butchering a few myself but it never came out anywhere near as nice. you guys know any good butchers down this way ( spring hill ). ever try the guys on county line rd spring hill. I can't believe I havent shot a deer since 02, long overdue.
Tonight was BBQ venison tip's over rice. Tomorrow venison stew.
