I know many a traitor. One of the biggest gator fans I know went to fsu. Heck my own brother wore a uf hat to the fsu engineering school lol! One of my friends when we attended uf was a big fsu fan but because fsu didn't have a agriculture school he went to uf. As the other guys stated, getting an eduation is more important than attending whatever school you want.
yeah im going for engineering. not sure which schools better for engineering but im positive i could get into UF for spring 2012 if i wanted. actually that makes a good question: any of you guys know what school would be better for engineering?
Actually, FAU down in Boca Raton is starting to be recognized as having one of the better engineering programs in the state. My son went there for 2 years studying civil engineering before deciding he wanted to go the Air Force route. If you're not set on a school yet, check FAU out. Plus, you can wear all your Gator stuff and nobody minds!
your right fau would probably be better for the enginnering program but i have my mind completely set on either UF or FSU. and as for my dad being proud either way lol he actually didnt sound that happy. hes always been that way though but thats what makes me try hard at everything because it seems nothing is good enough for him. obviously his ways of being a dad work out though! id win motocross season after motocross season and hed get on my a** about the one time i get a 2nd place. i guess its kind of like why should you be rewarded for doing what your supposed to do you know? getting all A's is what you are supposed to do in school. winning a dirtbike race is what you race for. etc etc.

Hellbilly is right, UF by a landslide. UCF has a pretty good engineering school also (or did 4-5 yrs ago). The good thing about FSU's engineering school is that it is off the main campus so it's easy to get up and be there quickly without walking for miles on campus. My UF engineering school experience was more of a "sink or swim" type mentality toward the students and I think FSU's is a little different.
