When I lived in Cape Coral, when Hurricane Charlie raped us, a buddy (whom died from cancer @ age 22 2 years ago on Aug 1) and I spent most of our time scraping aluminum from broken pool cages/lanai's. We would just knock on doors and tell them we would tear it down for free. We were making about $150 a day doing it, and it was better than sitting in the house without air conditioning (I was out of power for 9 days).
