Not sure, but your new dog looks to me to be a cross between a yellow lab and a red-nose American pitbull terrier. Our daughter's family has one (minus the labX). This dog has the same nose and huge tongue. Plus the ears are not cropped or flopped over. Best bet would be ask a vet.

Do you know if it's third or fifth row thinning(or different)? I wish they would come thin 2 blocks I've been scouting in. I would be walking behind the fellow buncher with my stand to claim the spot lol!

Your gonna have a good season. I've hunted a few places that were cut and you'll see a good difference. Deer smell that fresh dirt and will run to it to check it out. I've seen them use the exact same trails that they used before it was cut. What I mean is they will walk the exact same route through the cleared areas just as though all the brush and trees were still there. Now plant some food plots where they cleared for turnarounds and you'll be all set.

Go do yourself a favor. Go get a few bags of 10-10-10 fertilizer and spread it down a few of the pine rows that you have stands on. It makes the natural browse come back healthier and makes natural food plots. Deer will go out of their way to forage on browse that is fertilized
