I read the following article today.

At first I thought this guy was an idiot.
Then it dawned on me that he is a liar.
First you load shells in a magazine tube, not the Chamber, of a pump shotgun.
Second you can't pump the action three times without firing or pressing the action release. If this guy was such an avid gunman like he claims he would know that. Leading me to believe he is a typical liar pulling crap out of his rear to seem smart.
I looked him up on Facebook. He is a sushi eating, flamingo loving liberal that I left a nice message for. . LoL
Also still new to the forum, but wanted to say I love it. You folks are some good people. The kind I would actually hang out with. Just saying
And what's wrong with sushi? 😀
And what's wrong with sushi? 😀
Eating sushi instead of fried chicken is like driving a Nissan compact instead of a full sized Ford Pickup.
Nothing "wrong" with it. .. Just less American 😀
Whether or not he used the right terminology is not as much an indicator of his BS as the fact that he didn't have the gun loaded in the first place. Waiting until there's a threat before loading your weapon is like having a car with an empty tank when you need to get your pregnant wife to the hospital.
Sure, there's a lot of people who SHOULDN'T own or operate firearms. They don't HAVE to own or use them, nobody will force them to do so. But those of us who do choose to take responsibility for our family and our country's protection, and to do so legally as described in the Constitution, should never have that right infringed. When seconds count, and the police are minutes away, I'll guaran-damn-tee you that I won't be cowering in some corner trying to figure out how to load my weapon(s). As the song says,"Our houses are protected by the good Lord and a gun. And you might meet 'em both if you show up here not welcome son".
It's a proven statistic that most handgun injuries are self inflicted while trying to chamber a round in a panic situation. Adrenalin and nerves are high...the less stuff you have to do the better, and the less ammo lawyers have against you.
I have said this many many times...if you carry a handgun that is not chambered as a CWP, then you should just leave it at home
