I have a "sissy pad" on my 7mm, and it makes it enjoyable to shoot.
IL2H, are you talking about the butt pads like pachmayer types?I've got those on all my rifles cuz I gotta cut the stock length down anyway, def an improvement. I'm talking about the one from psst I believe that you wear on your shooting shoulder like 1/2 a bra, now thats a sissy pad I'll only use it sometimes if shooting slugs from a bench or keep around for women and kids.
Or to sight in ruger no1 tropicals in obscenely huge calibers.....
P.K. never had the opportunity to try any of those crazy african calibers, shot next to a couple of em tho and the muzzle flash/noise from those breaks were enough to loosen my fillings. def need the dd cup sissy pad for those.
No I was talking about the Sims vibration recoil pad. I got a couple of the slip-on type for my 7mm and turkey gun. I highly recommend them
