Tonya,sorry to hear about your loss. I'm sure you had many good times with her. having no children my dogs are my family and many here understand what youre going thru. hang in there.
It's so tough to lose a dog. Whether its a hunting dog or a house dog it hurts all the same. A good friend once told me the reason we hurt so much when we lose a dog is to pay back all the amazing thing the dog sacrificed for us. I believe thats true, as I've had some damn fine dogs go, and I know they wouldn't pick another way out, but fighting and protection the family.
