Say you have a dozen eggs in the fridge.
The date on the carton says "Best if used by DEC 28"
Me and my lovely wife, and she is lovely, got in an argument about this last night.
I say the eggs are garbage, spoiled, past expiration date, a breeding ground for salmonella.
She says if the date says "best if used by" it is safe for 2 weeks after that, and she would have no problem eating them.
I threw the damn things in the trash....
So, would yall eat them??
i do not eat anythin thats past the "best if used by" date. theres a "best if used by" date and an "experation" date on different things.. For instance.. MILK does not have a "best if used by" date they just have a "Experation" date. Soda and juice has a "best if used by" date on them. That just means it might not taste as great as if you were to have eatin it before the date. WHen it comes to eggs or any food i throw it away if its past any date on the carton. But shes right. It could be good for another week or 2. But with them being so cheap just buy new ones! Sometimes the drive just isnt one i want to take sometimes.. lol
hard boil them and kill Sam & Ella
My gas is bad enough as it is. I would peel wallpaper off the walls if I ate 2-week old eggs 😐
