hell yea,best thing to do shut off gas and let it run out and leave gas off until next use

definitely makes starting it back up again after a few months pretty easy

I start it up every month. After Charley, Francis, and Jean, my wife and daughter make sure I remember to keep the generator in running condition all the time. My 8 year old daughter makes us run a "power out" drill about every 2-3 months to make sure the generator hookups to the house still work.
