Glad you got it off without any major problems. I've got an older (2000) 4-door Dakota with the shorter bed. When I got the truck I tried a couple of different hard bed covers, with hinged doors, etc. Never failed, I'd have to haul something that required taking the whole cover off within a couple of weeks of putting it on. After the 3rd or 4th time I decided it didn't need a cover! I bought a Contico Pro Tuff toolbox I found on Craiglist for $30, and keep it in place with a couple of heavy bungee cords. Holds stuff like jumper cables, tow strap, tie-down straps, a 5 gallon bucket, windshield washer fluid, etc. and keeps my backseat area from getting all cluttered up. Plus, if I need the extra space I can pull it out of the bed easier than a regular truck toolbox that mounts from rail to rail.
I posted my used topper (not as new as yours) on Craigs list, If i were you, as nice as it is would start with at least $400 ....Mine sold very fast
i sold the "old school" style aluminum topper from my pickup on CL for 150 fairly quickly so that fiberglass one should go for at least double that in price
I have had excellent luck on craigslist. Just watch for the scams-I am out of town-can I send a cashiers check etc. Use you phone number but spell some of the numbers-3five 2 2zero 7 and so on. good luck.
YOU MIT WANT TO KEEP THE TOPPER. I PAID $1500.00 NEW FOR MIND. USED YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET $300-$400
I LOVE MY TOPPER AND KEEPS EVERYTHING CLEAN AND DRY AND LOCK UP!
