SA I agree FL has a tremendous amt of land to hunt. and those states out west realy stick it to out of
staters, not as bad for residents. now it's been since early 80's I hunted out there, and I was a resident at the time but as I recall BLM land (alot of area) had pretty similar hunting dates. and all you needed was a license/ gun and map, but that was a while ago. for me here in s.h. the 3 closest places are chazz, citrus and homosassa, all within a couple of miles of each other with wildly diff hunt dates, for reg seasons and quotas. and for chazz what was it a 2 day mzl loader season on 40,000 acres, GEE could they spare it? granted I didn't do my homework ( never did it it school don't realy want to now). for me , not too computer litterate gotta spend more time on the puter than the woods. and I figure alot of us hunters aren't the red tape paperwork lovers to begin with, and the illiterate inbreds (like John) who's family tree goes in a staight line must have a real hard time ( J.K.)can't there be some way to simplify things? this old dog don't wanna learn any new tricks. and federal migratory birds/ whole other can of worms. thanks for allowing me to vent and whine. feel much better now, just gotta man up and deal with it. I miss my beer too.
