Ok, so I am sorta planning something for me and the Missses for the weekend before Valentine's day. Looking at their website, the cheapest room they have is like $349/night. I haven't called yet to see if they have anything better, thats just posted on the web page. Obviously I aint paying that. I know its inflated for V-day, but thats ridiculous. I thought the amenities at these gambling places were cheap
So, anyone got any connections to get a better rate or anything? I'd like to go there(It's only 10 minutes away), but would consider something on the beach anywhere around Pinellas. I just want something all inclusive (restaurants and stuff), cause I aint leavin when I check in.
Back in the day I woulda just got a Motel 6 and a bottle of ripple. My wife deserves a little better than that
I have taken my wife to the Hard Rock hotel at Universal for a lot less than that and we really enjoyed it. There are 3 really nice hotels there everything is right there so you never have to leave if you dont want to. We didnt go in the park but we did go to the area where all the restaraunts and shops are and its nice there and you dont pay admission to the actual park. At night there is an outside tiki bar by the pool thats nice too not so crowded and loud so you can actually talk. The 2 times we have gone there I have gained enough brownie points to include a trip to Bass Pro which is just down the road I might add so it worked out well for the both of us. Just a thought.
If you gamble and have an account that same room is free, that is how they make up for it, over charging the non gamblers...all our rooms are free at 4-5 casinos.
