Wife and son took me to Cracker Barrel. Got back home and they surprised me with a pressure cooker. I 'll have everything in the house cooked and in jars now
Happy Father's Day! I got to spend the day yesterday with my dad and son, went out fishing, got a cooler full of grunts, some porgies, a porkfish, a few triggers, and a couple of grouper. Was a bit rough out, but we managed to enjoy the day. Now I'm recovering, waiting on my daughter to arrive, so I can cook some grouper and have a father's Day lunch with both my kids - first time been able to do that in several years!

As my wife's grandfather likes to tell me "Don't ever unless you will!!".....I polished off the remainder of one last night watching movies with the kids, I was tempted to pick up another one today, between the brisket going on now, the boiled peanuts just about ready and my desire to stay awake long enough to watch the game tonight, I thought better of it.
whatever pull / luck/connections with the guy upstairs. keep your fingers crossed, rub that rabbits foot/horseshoe, say a prayer for a very special fathers day for gunboy.
