Ditto. Lost my gramps almost 5 years ago now. He taught me how to trout fish, deer hunt, and shoot. Wish he was still around. He left a lot of pics from WWII out of the tail of a B-17 that I'll never know where they were now. And the stories. Man, he had him some stories.
Lost my grandpa 6 years ago, really miss him too wish my son had the chance to know him the way I did. Taught me alot about hunting and the outdoors. He drove a tank in WW2 brought back a luger and alot of other cool stuff that my dad now has. I still have the antlers from his first deer up on my wall.
i was so much stressed and had so much on my mind.. i forgot to go see my dads grave. Went there yesterday and as soon as i got there it started storming and pouring and thunder.. I guess he was not happy. Maybee cause someone went there minutes before me.. i guess.
Even though I have a beautiful son, fathers day is sort of a somber day for me since I lost my dad 4 years ago. It just aint the same, and I sort of dread it actually because I know I will get choked up, as I did Sunday. Guess I miss my old man that much
