X2! Man, I'm ready for another Low Country Boil! We do them in the early spring or late fall for two reasons. 1. so the mosquitoes don't eat us alive, and 2. so we can have a bushel of oysters to eat while the shrimps a boilin'!!
I was up on Crystal River for our annual father's day (week late) float a couple of weekends ago and the folks out there were tearing up the scallops. I wish I'd have known it was opening day of the season because I would have brought me a bucket and loaded up. We need to plan better next year.
