I fondly remember as a kid, leaving on my bike every morning and coming home at supper time. I had to come in once during the day to check in. Now If I can't see my son for 30 seconds I panic.

Also remember riding back and forth to Georgia several times a year riding in the back window dash. I would lay up there and wave at every car that went by. Seat belt? What seat belt........

ive hit the dash a couple times, only once did it really hurt. we had an early 80's model amc wagon and i went over the seat and into the dash. good times. its hard to believe that 15 years ago cell phones were not that common.

the last 4 guns " a friend of mine " bought, since I don't believe in owning any myself, have been from 1940-1965, no plastic anywhere and the mfgrs could afford to pay highly skilled people to fit and assemble them with alot of man hours involved. nowadays youre getting an unfinished product with alot of cut corners. to build it right would put it out of our price range. thats why any new gun " my buddy " buys needs to be tweaked by a gunsmith, to get the time consuming final fitting/polishing/adjustments, and shaped to fit him and only him, not everyone in the world just right.
