I've been running a D55IR and have been wondering at what % of battery do you need to replace the batteries? Had an issue with an older Moultrie and seems like one of the Moultrie techs said replace them when they get in the 50% range, can't remember!

Mr Treefarmer
I guess it depends on how often you can check your camera. I know mine will take pictures up until the minute the batteries die. I have left mine up and running with batteries at 20% or less(if I am coming back the next weekend) and it still takes pics. Mine is facing a feeder, running 365/24-7 and I only need 2, possibly 3 sets of batteries a year.
I changed mine at the end of hunting season. I bought new batteries last weekend thinking I would need to change them. When I opened it up I was still at 47%. That is probably 15,000 pics in that time frame. Matter of fact, I just bought 2 36Gb cards to put in my 2 good cams because the 4GB SD cards are always full when I check it

A WGI wouldn't even come to 10% of that total

I run mine all the way down as well. I put new batteries in around June..didn't need replaced until December/Jan.
