My mom has owned Honda's for a while now and never had any issues with her cars. I had a Honda Civic that I let my kids drive for a while until one of them drove it with a radiator leak and burned it up. One of my daughters currently has a Honda Element and it's given her and her husband good service. All in all I think any Honda is a good car if it has been taken care of.

A 2008 model with only 50,000 miles seems like a great deal. That's barely broke in. I'd go to Kelly's Blue Book to get a fair price for it. I normally do that when car shopping. I'll print out the info and take it with me and not go over what KBB says. Usually you can get a car for under what it says. Good luck on your hunt.

Edmunds.com usually has true market value. I always check Edmunds, KBB, and NADA prices and average the prices out to determine what I'd like to pay.
