I just started drinking scotch. The Famous Grouse is a good one, I drink it with a few cubes of ice and nothing else. I paid 27.99 for the gift set at ABC (which comes with 2 tumblers).

I'm not a Scotch guy. I had it a few times and could take it or leave it...I have always heard that Scotch is an "acquired taste"...can any of you connisuers elaborate on that?

I wouldn't call myself a "connisuer" but it definitely took me a bit to get used to it. I spent 28 bucks on a handle and I wasn't going to let it go to waste since the first drink was different than what I was used too. After about a week of drinking an ounce or two on the rocks, I quite enjoy it now.

Yes, drinking something that tastes like a campfire is definitely an acquired taste!
