I have had a cat problem for years, and trapped 14 in the last 2 years.No crazy lady just her a-hole son who feeds the strays, and keeps them around. You can catch most, but a wise older feral Tom can be difficult to catch, and may need to be shot. Ofcourse I feel the same way about deer, and hogs dogs roaming onto property they do not belong on. Either keep them on your property, or risk them being disposed of.

So far I like this method my self - the animal control Marion county -comes to my place now and then from complaints - as my male kills every cat, tree rat and varmint that comes in his fenced in yard and there is nuttin they will do as he is just a dog protecting his territory - fact they arrested a neighbor for fileing false report- he stated my dog jumped fence and attacked his cat - other neighbor - was there when dog cops showed up to arrest my dog and told truth - they came back next day w/deputy and he got carted off to jail - paid some fines and now has a police record - he keeps his pussy in the house now
Had a moron neighbor feeding so feral cats in the backyard, my wife told them sha and the kids were allergic to cats and knock it off. Which they did

My catch dog has a particular fondness for cats, he is very fond of catching them and then inviserating them. Happened in front of the crazy cat lady neighbor one day. Next day she asked if she could borrow a small dog cage/kennel as she was doing to trap a bunch of the feral ones she was feeding and send them along. She caught 12 that day.
