FEEDERS

Solar panel from HB works great for me. even when there is not much sun. The 6v batteries work really well but the two new ones i bought for new feeders this summer have already crapped out. The last set i bought back in 2010 worked for 3 yrs with out a problem.

I got some old remington spring tops still going for the past 4 years on and off.

Ive bought new wg springtops that have been new then old in the garbage and my rems are still rocking. Cant find them anymore.

The rectangle "emergency exit sign" batteries work really well if your feeder has gator clips. SOme of them have more amp hrs than the spring tops. You used to only be able to find them at HD/Lowes, etc. Now feeder companies caught on and are making them. They actually fit in a battery compartment better

They do. Wildgame motors come set up for those. I cut the wires and put gator clips. Seems the springbtops lasted longer and are less money.

Harbor freight solar panels and I use those same batteries.

Really? Hf has em? Are they cheaper then the wg? Wg are 22 bucks.
