Ain't fished up there, but there is LOTS of good huntin up there. If you can get into a decent club or get enough guys together, Westervelt Wildlife has a lot of leases right outside Tyndall. You have to be very picky, as there are deer there, but you are going to need feeders, and food plots, and feeders, and more feeders. Oh, and your definitely going to need a bunch of Thermocell refills. The skeeters up there are the size of small hummingbirds, and they fly in huge flocks. They have a 6pt or better rule for bucks, but you can get doe permits for leases of more than 400 acres (which most them are).
many area's to hunt
And the WMAs up thattaway are nice too. Just found me another spot on the river that's high and dry and just covered up in hogs, deer, and turkey. Ima spend most of this late summer scoutin and pickin out my sweet spot for opening day of archery.
sweet deal
