Thanks for the kind words guys. The gun was bought in a pawn shop for 90 bucks it was in bad shape pocket worn and pitted bad. I polished the slide to get the pits out but at the same time you start to loose the lettering so I would have to recut the lettering. I ended up recuting the lettering three times to get the pits out. Once that was done it was pretty much uphill from there.
