I know some of you are aware of this annual event and it might be new to some. I'm not sure of the varieties of pines that do this, but one is the Improved Slash.
In the spring of the year these pines put out growth shoots that eventually turn into little crosses just in time for Easter. Just a reminder in the woods of what the Season is about, a Risen Savior!
