The Cowboys got attacked by the "bears" last night and lost,that sucked.
The sad thing is the bear when alive they showed on the news was a sow, long face and "dainty" wrists, maybe she had cubs and the lady got between them? Also bear attacks on women happen mostly (non cub related) during the menstral cycle, tragic either way for the human and the animal. The state won't know if they got the right bear but will claim they have and in the end bear populations are increasing and management needs to happen via hunting rather than euthanasia.
The Wekiva Preserve in Seminole county is a joke, over the last 10 years the county and state has allowed the over development along both sides of the preserve. The Preserve starts north of I4 just north of Sanford and the strip of preserve is less than 300 yards wide at that point. We have friends that own five acres right across the street from where the preserve starts and on trash day the garbage men have to chase off anywhere from 1-12 bears just to pick up the garbage. I hold the county and state esponsible for invading natural bear habitat in the name of $$$$$. If I was extremely wealthy I'd file a law suit against the county and state because of the damage they have caused and force them to buy back the thousands of acres of land and return it to its natural state. Now the bears have no where to go and our government sits idle until one of these attacks happen. Last time I checked the bears were here first.
