I have always had a soft spot in my heart fo brittany spaniel. I've ownd one before.Also had a nice English setter that I lost to Parvo.You know bird dogs are the new hog dogs,lots of german shorthair and english pointer crosses out there now.
I could see some pointer and shorthair mix bred in, but I think the brittany's have too gentle a disposition and soft mouth for hogs, ( great for birds and family pets though)
I know a guy that has a bulldog/pointer cross that kicks azz. He hunts his but off,has a good nose ,and catches real hard.
