Don't take this the wrong way. But a dark background with white lettering is extremely harsh on the eyes. Your eyes tend to blurr it. Not just me saying this. There are a thousand articles about it. I think the stat I just saw is you read with 26% less efficiency on a dark background/light lettering versus a light background/dark lettering
