Just did a month long camping trip up to MI. Needed to pass through GA, KY, and OH. So I wanted to find out where I could carry without a hassle. Florida issues a reciprocity list that spells out which states accept our CCW permit and if there are special porvisions. If you plug into your browser something like "Florida Recipocity open carry list" then it should come up. I am heading up to GA on Friday for a disabled deer/hog gun hunt. I will take my 30-06 and wear my .357 magnum on my belt just in case those GA hogs get too close. All expenses are paid for motel and meals. All I need to pay for is my gas there. I 've already made room in my big freezer to stock venison and pork. This is the first of 3 disabled hunts I have scheduled for this fall. Good luck in NC

Rob

Ga, N.C., and N.Y. have us c**k blocked and land locked, or we'd be good to go up the whole E. seaboard. I don't see N.Y. changing anytime soon, but the other 2 maybe. they are in the south after all.

GA reciprocates with FL - http://dps.georgia.gov/georgias-firearm-permit-reciprocity

So does NC - http://www.ncdoj.com/About-DOJ/Law-Enforcement-Training-and-Standards/Law-Enforcement-Liason/Concealed-Weapon-Reciprocity.aspx

New York I ain't even gonna look up!

Just remember that even though they reciprocate and recognize your permit/license, doesn't mean their rules for concealed carry are exactly the same. For instance, in NC you have to disclose to a LEO that your are carrying when approached or addressed.

Ya I got pulled over mot to long ago. I handed the cop my ccl just to be nice, then he argued with me for twenty minutes that Florida is a have to informe state. So sometimes the cops don't know the laws there enforcing.
