I came up here to clean out and remodel a house so we could sell it and already have a contract on it.I hired a couple of guys to haul off the scrap metal and they got over 2 tons. Then they helped me fill a 40 yard dumpster. I used them for 2 days and they got a couple hundred for the scrap and I had to pay them 200.00. That was one heck of a job, them boys waded right thru anything and loaded it. What a country, can't wait to get back home now.
Glad it went well for you. Have a safe trip home!
Sounds like the house next door to my brother 15 people living in 2 bedroom house and filled up the back yard with garbage as they didn't want to pay trash pickup. Lived there 4 or 5 months then moved out just left everything. My brother lives in Brooksville over off California on Deltonia st but I was there yesterday taking a Jack Russel to him and the house is still a mess so not the one you are talking about.
This house is in Mo. Just a man who lived thru the great depression and would never throw stuff away that could be used again. Steel could be welded and you can make tools or fix tractors with it, wood could always be used for something, old clothes could be mended. None of us ever lived when there was nothing to eat or no money to buy anything. On the plus side I found lots of antiques including dish sets well over 100 years old,Indian artifacts, tools, and some ancient kitchen utensils.
I did bank repo clean outs with a buddy for awhile. Theres no friggin telling what you may find.
