Thats never worked for me I could be wrong but I think you have just been lucky. The repel is the best that I have found. It keeps most chiggers, other crawlers off of you pretty good. Man I hate chiggers, this time of year we usually get a good thread of some one getting eating up. Where the pics. LOL

I always heard the nail polish too. It's worth a try in my opinion.
