Everything is built below the fence line. Hope they don't get too noisy. I still have a couple hours of work left on this. Still need to wrap the entire thing in wire, and put netting over the top. Also got to finish the inside of the coop with nest boxes and roosts. Still need to get feeders/waterers/feed...and chickens
That's a fine looking chicken house you built. If the chickens ever quit layin' and end up in a pot of dumplings, I can see the makings of a fine shooting house! A little disinfectant and a couple of windows and your in business. Treefarmer

In one nest put two white golf balls. They like to lay eggs with other eggs.
feed old eggs shell back to them just crush it up. mineral for making new shell.
When there in the chicken house coop toss in a lizard and watch the feeding frenzy. Make sure you don't get blood on one the others may eat it. seriously.

seriously if you make a quick clean cut they do run around without there heads.
I would suggest if you have raccoons in your hood to make it coon proof,I say this out of personal experience. They love chicken meat.
