Any of you guys vision going also? Just an unrelated question that's it...
Yes. I went to the eye dr. last year. I've noticed that I've started having eye dominance issues - my left eye is better than my right eye (dominant eye). I now have 20-20 vision in my left eye and 20-25 vision in my right. As the eye dr. put it, I am cursed with a perfect eye, and a near perfect eye. But, my eyes fight for dominace now and I have to close my left eye when shooting my bow or a rifle w/ iron sights.
A guy at work had the surgery and he was only out a few weeks. Now he's back to normal. I think if you don't do anything too extreme, you could be shooting in no time. I'd try to get the surgery done in May if I were you.
When I was doing rehab for my knee there was a hand specialist there. I asked her what the rehab time was for carpal tunnel surgery. She said there's no specific rehab process only limited use for the first few weeks and then using the stress balls to exercise it. A few weeks later and you're back to normal. Hope that helps...
I had CTS in both hands. The braces really worked for me with no 'cumbersome' issues at all. After about 6 months I had no symptoms at all. Now I sleep without the braces- maybe because they trained me to keep me from bending my wrists at night.
I also had vision issues, too. I thought my glasses were dirty and would clean the 8-10 times a day. Then one day it felt like I had Vaseline on the lenses! Turned out to be cataracts! Had both eyes done and I have no regrets at all!
Hmmm, sore wrists and bad eyesight..... π
