i'd probably shop around, unless you have to carry some type of commercial insurance (work truck). My boss had told us, if you get in an accident, and it is your fault---make sure you kill who ever you hit. will be cheaper. one time payout. we have to carry $3 millions of liability on our trucks. to be able to drive into these power and fertilizer plants.

Florida is a no fault state so it doesnt matter who hit who. It's all a racket just like home owners insurance. You don't have to like it you just have to get used to it. :censored

the no-fault doesn't apply, i beleive when it comes to collisions. if both parties have full coverage. someone is always found at "fault". either by the police and a ticket is issued, or if no ticket is issued, the insurance companies have to assign fault to one of the drivers involved. just went through this crap over the summer. wife was in a collision. but thank god for accident forgiveness. didn't affect our insurance. the insurance companys can raise a policies rates based on driving history. more tickets or accidents (your fault) can put you in a "higher" risk category. which means you pay a higher premium.
