Ok seriously Car Ins Companies should be sued.

Ok so heres the deal. You are driving, get in to an accident, Its deemed your fault. NOW you have ins to pay for the damage done to the other car right? Now you pay thousands or maybee a Thousand for Full Coverage a year right?

Some people go years without an accident So the Ins company just gets paid thousands a year to give you a piece of paper so when you get pulled over you dont get a ticket right?

Ok now with your little accident your ins pays the fees to repair the other persons car (just saying a small fender bender) So the Ins does do something besides give you a piece of paper saying your insured right? LOOLLLLL

OK then they give you a surcharge for about 3-5 years. If you add up the surcharge over all the years it pretty much is the amount that it cost to fix the other persons car.. Makes no sense. What about all the years you paid thousands a year and didnt have an accident? Thats just pocket money.? I doubt a piece of paper cost thousands a year?

So all in all when you have an accident you still are paying the amount to fix the other persons car with ins or without. Think about it. RIPOFF.

I had a little fender bender last year in walmart parking lot. LIterally tapped into a car and put a dent the size of a nickel on the car and scratched the aftermarket rim he had on his car. Seriously about a 400 dollar repair with new rim (if needed) and repairing the little lick on the quarter panel.

I got a surcharge of 250 a year for probably 3-5 years to pay for this little ass dent on the guys car. So the 1600 a year i pay for full coverage ins wasnt enough for them to cover the cost of the accident? Oh i forgot the piece of paper they print out cost 1600 dollars to print out.. SO that leaves them no money left over for the cost of the 400 dollar repair of the car i hit. SO the surcharge is to pay for the other persons car.. WTFFFF.. hiway robbery.

Dayum, who do you have insurance with? :eek My daughter pulled into a parking space about 4 years ago and the right front corner of her little Saturn put a nice crease in the driver's door of a Lexus. The owner just happened to be in the car at the time, too! That was fixed and paid for and I never saw an increase or heard any more about it. About 3 years ago, my wife ran a red light and hit a car driven by an old lady, totaling our van and the lady's Buick LeSabre. I just knew they would eat me up when my policy renewed, but my premium actually went down because I had been with them for over 3 years at that point. I don't know who you're paying for insurance, but ask them if they'll at least give you a :lips: every now and then.

If I am not mistaken, ins companies cannot raise your rates due to filing a claim

Shop for another company. Either there is something about your driving record or type of insurance you ain't telling, or your insurance company is giving it to you in the :ahole . Do they actually list something as a claim surcharge on your premium?
