Ok we are going to do a family camping trip @ peace river. about 15 people.
right now it looks like we will be staying on the beach with group rates. if any one wants to come to you are welcome to join. check out there website
peacrivercampgrounds.com. check the rates for some people it is cheaper to not do a group rate. let me know if you are planing and if you want the group rate I will give you the info. Also they are offroad vehical frendly pay $10 and you can ride the trails on what ever you have,unfortunatly there is a low speed limit so dont get caught.
about 5 years ago we took the canoes down the peace river and camped out along the river, that was a blast. lots of good memories, in the mornings we heard turkeys gobbling and one mid day trip a turkey flew across the river right in front of us. we put in at brownsville and camped down river. you should have a good time. try and hang some snook on a line while you are out there. lots of good snook in the river, not sure about the summer time. i know that there are still alot of them pretty far up the river around here right now.
