I have a buddy who is kind of greedy sometimes and will run up on you if we are running dogs and know it's a buck. He doesn't do it much anymore after we set him straight. Dang good hunter and kills about half or more of the bucks we jump and knows nearly every deer crossing in 99,000 acres so he's tough to hunt with when he gets greedy. He cost me that buck in my avatar by running up on me several years ago and we had it out then. Not that I wanted to kill a 3 pt that bad anyway but I did want it killed in front of my dogs.
I got so many it's hard to pick a winner. definately in the top 10 was Jeff. summer 1977 my college dorm room. showing him my used pse compound bow, he's holding it checking it out and I turned my back, not paying attention. he nocks an arrow, pulls back to full draw and I turn around just in time to see him let it fly. it goes thru my window and sticks into the ground app a foot or 2 away from a senior citizen sitting on the lawn with a group of others having a picnic. I had some splainin to do. am not gonna tell of some of the bonehead moves I've done, let's just say I'm on the top ten list too.
Holy crap nacho you're old as Moses lol :crip :clown
HELL NO. I'm only 55 but do have a few health issues but you will to by my age. 55 is young, haven't even reached "the golden years" yet lol. I bought a H&R single shot last night from a guy who is at least 70 y/o, still working, has throat cancer and 2 bad shoulders and as he put it "is on borrowed time" who came to my house to bring me the gun after spending 4 hours at chazz building a few blinds and putting a few stands up, by himself for his x-bow quota, (since he can't pull a bow string back anymore). one hell of a man! hope I can be 1/2 that good at his age.

I'm messing with ya nacho. You're not that old. :toast
I know. 55 is the new 35. as long as I'm here may as well tell of another top 10 winner. in 85-86 a co-worker and person who had never hunted before but whoose parents had 300+ acres and a house, big azz barn and milking shed on some of the finest Catskill mtn realestate you ever saw with ridges running on the east and west with a pond full of bass and a stream that fed into the delaware river with real nice trout, town of Shinhopple, sure you've all heard of it. well we went our sepparate ways to hunt the first morn (which I probably should have stayed with him), he comes back all smiles saying he got one and wants to go take it to the check station and show off a little. I look at the deer and it still has spots. I told him to start digging a hole, I'll start butchering this baby right here and now, maybe we will have enough for dinner, and keep your mouth shut about it.
